61-year old John Henry Horton was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison for the 1974 murder of 13-year old Lizabeth Wilson. Lizabeth disappeared while walking home from the Prairie Village swimming pool.

Horton, 61, was found guilty March 5 of first-degree murder in the death of Lizabeth Wilson. It was his second such conviction; a 2004 conviction was overturned by the Kansas Supreme Court. Liz disappeared July 7, 1974, while walking home from the Prairie Village swimming pool.
